About Us

I have owned and cared for animals all of my life, having grown up on a sheep farm, always having a keen interest in horses and being inseparable from our family dog...and any one else's for that matter. These are just a few of the many reasons why i decided to start Walkies plus More....

I now have my own Dog called Zak, he is a 5 year old Springer spaniel X Collie. Zak is extremely friendly and likes to help out on our walks. He loves socialising with all of the other dogs and endeavours to keep the Puppies in check, when needed.

I am experienced in Puppy training, so am always happy to help out when advice is needed. I have been studying dog behaviour for over 3 years and am OCN qualified in both Puppy class instruction and Dog behaviour. I run a branch of 'Sarah Whiteheads' Clever Dog company Puppy and Dog training classes. See services for more detail.

Having been brought up with animals and always being particularly interested in their behaviour and well being gave me an advantage in understanding that they all require different handling and training methods depending on their individual character and needs.

Walkies Plus More has been established for over four years, is fully registered and insured so you can be confident that your Pets are always in safe hands.
